Episode 12 - "Wildcard"
Don't call it a reboot. We been here for...
While we transition to what’s next and wrangle some guests to bring into The Needle Exchange, my main man MF Beige (aka José Amador) and I didn’t want to keep y’all waiting too long. Plus, we wanted to play a bit with the format change, which will generally feature MF Beige and guest sharing lists while I facilitate and kibbitz but this time just features us two chucklefucks.
Instead of a shared theme, we decided to gameify a bit (HT to Dilletante DJ Rob for introducing that flavor), with each of us crafting a list based on a theme, but only sharing the list and NOT the theme with the other. I think the list titles should give away which of these might be challenging to figure out and which… not.
Mainly, we just hope to create a space where guests feel comfortable and excited to come in and share. And I think we’ve done that. As long as they don’t mind cussin’. I really like to cuss. Want to join us or have an idea for an amazing guest? Drop us a line at theneedleexchangepodcast@gmail.com.
Having spent the last week with these two lists, I can certify that they are vibes, and very, very different ones in every way (I’ll also cop to my list maybe just a little bit being the kind of list one makes for themselves and for that I’m sorry I’m not sorry).
