Coming soon... Episode #4 "Night of the Living Dead"

Earlier than you may have suspected, right? We’re experimenting with a different production schedule and will be recording this weekend. And folks, I’m not gonna lie - this one’s real special to me.

Night of the Living Dead is one of my favorite films of all time. I’m not a fan of horror, generally, and it isn’t even that this is just a favorite horror film. I earnestly and wholeheartedly love this movie and rank it in my top ten ever.

It landed in my life hard, as I flipped channels and arrived just in time to watch a little girl zombie calmly eating her mother’s hand, and I was instantly hooked. By the time the lead had met his end, I realized there was so much more than simple horror here. And everything I have learned about the film or from subsequent viewings has only reinforced that belief.

I’m sure I’ll have more to say in the episode newsletter, but for right now, I have to go listen to some killer playlists from the Dilletante DJs inspired by a favorite film.
